Terms and conditions the Creative Summer Week 2025
Article 1 - Definitions
1.1. Organisation: the legal entity or foundation organising Creative Summer Week 2025.
1.2. Participant: the child registered to participate in Creative Summer Week 2025 .
1.3. Parent/carer: the legal representative of the participant.
1.4. Activity: all organised parts of Creative Summer Week 2025.
Article 2 - Registration and participation
2.1. Participation is possible for children aged 7 to 12 years.
2.2. Registration is done via the appropriate form on the website and is only final after confirmation by the organisation.
2.3. The organisation reserves the right to refuse entries if the maximum number of participants is exceeded.
2.4. The parent/carer must provide correct and complete data at the time of registration.
2.5. If the minimum number of participants per day is not reached then the organisation reserves the right to cancel the activity with a refund of the registration fee.
2.6. Parents can only purchase whole days. If a participant leaves earlier then no refund will follow.
Article 3 - Costs and payment
3.1. Participation fees will be set and communicated in advance.
3.2. The participation fee must be paid no later than the date specified in the confirmation.
3.3. In case of cancellation less than 48 hours prior to the activity by the parent/carer, fees already paid will not be refunded, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Article 4 - Liability
4.1. Participation in Creative Summer Week 2025 is at your own risk.
4.2. The organisation shall not be liable for loss, theft or damage of the participant's property.
4.3. The organisation is not liable for injuries to the participant, unless there is intent or gross negligence by the organisation.
4.4. The parent/carer is liable for damage caused by the participant to materials, property or third parties.
Article 5 - Conduct and safety
5.1. The participant must follow the instructions of the supervisors and behave respectfully.
5.2. In case of serious misbehaviour or endangering others, the participant may be excluded (temporarily) from further participation by the organisation, without the right to a refund. If this happens, parents/carers are obliged to collect them.
5.3. The organisation reserves the right to refuse participants if it is necessary for the safety or well-being of others.
Article 6 - Medical information and emergencies
6.1. The parent/guardian is obliged to report medical particularities or allergies of the participant upon registration.
6.2. In case of emergency, the organisation will try to inform the parent/carer immediately. If this is not possible, the organisation will act at its best discretion. Any costs involved will be borne by the parent/carer.
Article 7 - Use of visual material
7.1. Photos and videos may be taken during activities for promotional purposes of the organisation.
7.2. If the parent/carer objects to this, prior written notice must be given.
Article 8 - Force majeure
8.1. The organiser is not obliged to carry out Creative Summer Week 2025 in case of force majeure (such as extreme weather conditions, pandemics or government measures).
8.2. In case of cancellation due to force majeure, the organisation will make every effort to offer an alternative, but cannot guarantee a refund.
Article 9 - Privacy statement
9.1. It is important to us that your and your child's data is kept safe and confidential. In this privacy statement, we explain what data we collect, why we do so and how we handle it.
9.2. When registering for the children's holiday week, we ask for:
- Name, address and date of birth of your child
- Name and contact details of parent(s)/carer(s)
- Your child's medical particularities or allergies
- Possibly: permission to use photos/videos
9.3. The organisation will use this data only for:
- Organising and running Creative Summer Week
- Ensuring the safety and health of participants
- Informing parent(s)/carer(s) during the week
- (Only if you have given permission) Taking and sharing photos and videos for promotional purposes of our activities
9.4. The organisation does not keep data longer than necessary. We delete medical data after the end of Creative Summer Week 2025. We keep other data for a maximum of one year for administrative and evaluation purposes.
Article 10 - Final provisions
10.1. These general terms and conditions are exclusively governed by Dutch law.
10.2. In cases not covered by these terms and conditions, the organisation will decide.
