Digital creativity

About us

About us and what we stand for as a company.

When people talk about us, we always hope that everyone fully understands our message. In fact, Digital Creativity goes further in education, through a unique blend of media disciplines. We are an educational organisation that focuses on the creative use of technology. This means we emphasise the creative aspect, which is often the driver for innovative and novel concepts.

Based on a future-oriented vision, we give lessons in schools at home and abroad. We develop and provide workshops and classes in photo, video, animated film, virtual reality, green screen, holography, programming, 3D print game design and augmented reality. We also offer workload reduction solutions and support for the entire education. The lessons and workshops tie in with 21st-century skills and are taught in primary, secondary and special education.

Besides our main activities in education, we also offer solutions for individuals and businesses. These can include a variety of training courses, children's parties, lectures, clinics, demonstrations, courses and company outings.

Our motivated team

With this fun, enthusiastic and versatile team, we give colour to Digital Creativity.

Hello all, I am Christian Godschalk and I am the founder of Digital Creativity. After studying media design at the Art Academy of Antwerp, I joined a centre for the arts. After a cutback, I made the leap to entrepreneurship. First as a self-employed person and later as an employer to a team of enthusiastic people. My love for technology and my creativity are excellent tools to realise my big dream: A world where everyone starts using technology creatively and can thus drive innovations. Do you have a question? Don't hesitate and contact me directly! I or one of my colleagues will answer your question quickly.

Hello, I'm Samantha and have been working for Digital Creativity as an event manager for a few years now. I mainly focus on the children's parties and events we organise, but I also work as a workshop leader. Thanks to my CMV training and my experience with animation work, I can easily empathise with children and know better than anyone how to entertain them. I really enjoy doing this! When children go home with a smile, my mission is accomplished!

My name is Patricia IJpelaar. Before my job at Digital Creativity, I worked with children and in disability care for many years. I also had several jobs in the office. I have been working for Digital Creativity as a workshop leader/teacher for over a year now. I also do the administration, for example invoicing, scheduling workshops, etc. This work, together with teaching, makes my job challenging and versatile. I enjoy working for this organisation. What I like most about working with children is the honesty and response I sometimes get from them during a workshop. The fact that I also get to teach them new media skills makes my job the most fun of all.

Quite early on, when I was twelve, I did my social internship with Christian. I liked it so much that I stuck around and did my internship for my media design studies at his company as well. Even now I still work for Digital Creativity. For instance, I help run the workshops. I give the students practical tips and help them solve all kinds of problems, both technical and design-related. I also model during the photography courses. I enjoy the challenge of introducing people of different age groups to the possibilities offered by the digital world. Contact with people and their learning processes inspires me on a personal level.

Hello all! I am Esther and may join the Digital creativity team. After my bachelor's degree in art history, I started the teacher training programme at Utrecht University. In addition to visual arts, there I also became involved in other art forms such as dance and film. At Digital creativity, I get to share my knowledge with students of all ages. Because I visit many different schools and classes, every day is different and never boring!

My name is Tim Hartendorp from Roosendaal.
At Digital Creativity, I work in a combination position. On the one hand, I spend several days in education as a Digital Creativity coach, which I really enjoy doing. On the other hand, I fulfil an important role within the organisation alongside Christian as a commercial jack-of-all-trades. The innovative nature of Digital Creativity appeals to me enormously, so I want to contribute to the healthy growth of the company with my commercial experience. My personality is often characterised as spontaneous, good-humoured, creative, intuitive and as a people person. It is therefore my strength to always strive for sustainable collaborations with our clients, where I like to think in terms of possibilities.

Hello, my name is Sjoerd and I enjoy providing guest lectures throughout the country on behalf of Digital Creativity. I really enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. Mainly to see how self-confidence, enthusiasm and fun are generated during fun lessons and discovering new tools and software. And that is almost universal: whether it is children, young people or adults. People lagging behind in language or mental development, for example. Although it is often unfortunate that every lesson comes to an end, it gives me great satisfaction when I can leave a group with a lot of inspiration.
