Workshop-Claymation
With claymation, you make your own neighbour & neighbour animated film.
Animation films come in all shapes and sizes. One such special animation technique is 'Claymation'. In this fun and informative workshop, you will learn all about the technique behind such animation classics as 'Wallace & Grommit', 'Pengu', 'Chicken run' and 'Shaun the sheep'.
Making clay figures move is yet another way of animating. For instance, you need to work the modelling clay properly before you can make figures out of it. Using iron wire, you can make good joint points to make the figures move easily.
The class is divided into small groups and each group comes up with a story. After this, they make the figures for the animation using modelling clay. The figures are then animated to create an animated film. The films can be watched afterwards.
