Workshop – Computer-generated animated films
Computer-generated animation films
The cg animation film-making workshop offers a great way to create. Making such a film can be done in several ways. Nowadays, many animation films are made with a new technique. In a so-called computer-generated animation film (CG animation film for short), a complete film is made with the help of computers. Both the design part and the motion process are done digitally. Well-known examples include 'Frozen', 'Cars', 'Minions', 'Rio' and 'Ice age'. This technique is also used in computer games such as "Minecraft".
In this workshop, students will work in groups to create a CG animation film using a tablet or iPad. Using different phases in a story, they will learn to tell a story. They can use ready-made figures and backgrounds, but they can also draw digitally themselves. In this way, their creativity is optimally stimulated. They also record the voices of the characters to create a kind of role-play between the different pupils.
