Workshop-The music box
Primary school pupils will be introduced to making music with tablets in a playful way. In this workshop, they discover how to combine beats, melodies and sounds themselves by dragging simple icons to the musical figures on the screen. This way, they build their own piece of music step by step.
The workshop encourages creativity, listening and collaboration. As students experiment with different sounds, they learn how music is composed of rhythm, sounds and layers. In a fun and accessible way, they experience that you can make your own music with digital tools. In this way, young children playfully learn to work with colour, rhythm, instruments and polyphony.
